Papua New Guinea, officially the State of Papua New Guinea (in Tok Pisin, Stet bilong Papua Niu Gini), is a country in Oceania occupying the eastern half of the island of New Guinea and a number of surrounding islands. It is one of the seventeen British Commonwealth Realms.
